Felix Gamarano is a Grammy® Nominated engineer and producer whose career was sparked by family legacy. His grandmother, Ann Bennett — a big-band era singer and the voice behind the classic 1959 “Felix the Cat” theme — inspired him to start creating music at just 12 years old. What began with blank cassettes, a boombox, and a cheap keyboard quickly grew into a deep obsession with sound. Felix started recording and mixing out of necessity for his own songs, but his passion for engineering soon overshadowed his life as an artist.

As “Bag Of Tricks Cat,” he toured internationally, collaborated with D12, Smoke DZA, Young Buck, and more, and earned multiple Billboard-charting releases. But behind the scenes, his ear was sharpening. Mentored by his cousin Brian Gigerich, Felix refined his approach and sound, eventually opening HandKrafted Studios in Phoenix in 2016 — the space that allowed his engineering career to flourish.

Today, Felix works under his own name, specializing in mixing, production, and recording for successful independent artists and bands. Clients book him not just for the sound, but for the experience: a collaborative, story-driven approach where he acts as a sonic director, shaping emotion, space, and movement. Known for his ability to bring vocals forward while keeping them glued to the mix, Felix also excels at adding transitions, textures, and production enhancements that elevate a song’s emotional impact.

His credits include Mega Ran, Millionaires, Whitney Peyton, Insane Clown Posse, Willy Northpole, Krizz Kaliko, Fyutch & Aura V, and dozens more. Felix recorded, produced, mixed, and mastered the Grammy®-nominated children’s album "Buddy’s Magic Treehouse," and contributed mixes and masters to the Grammy®-nominated children's album "Harmony." His engineering, production, and songwriting work has appeared on over a dozen Billboard-charting albums.

Working out of HandKrafted Studios in Phoenix, Felix offers industry-standard sound at a fair, accessible rate for serious musicians who want to take their music to the next level.
